Probarbus jullieni és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.[2]

Morfologia

  • Els mascles poden assolir 150 cm de longitud total[3] i 70 kg de pes.[4][5]

Alimentació

Menja plantes aquàtiques, insectes i mol·luscs.[5]

Hàbitat

És un peix demersal i de clima tropical.[5]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àsia: conques dels rius Mekong, Chao Phraya i Meklong a Indoxina i Tailàndia, i dels rius Perak i Pahang a Malàisia.[6][5][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]
