Mecklenburg County er et fylke i den amerikanske delstaten Nord-Carolina. Det ligger sørvest i staten og det grenser mot Iredell County i nord, Cabarrus County i nordøst, Union County i sørøst Gaston County i vest og mot Lincoln County i nordvest. Det har også grense mot delstaten Sør-Carolina i sør.
Mecklenburg Countys totale areal er 1 415 km² hvorav 52 km² er vann. I 2000 hadde fylket 695 454 innbyggere og i 2005 var det 796 372. Administrasjonssenteret ligger i byen Charlotte som også er fylkets største by.
Fylket ble grunnlagt i 1762 av land fra Anson County og er oppkalt etter prinsesse Sophie Charlotte av Mecklenburg-Strelitz, også fylkets hovedsete, Charlotte, er oppkalt etter henne.
James Knox Polk er født i fylket i 1795, han ble senere USAs ellevte president.
